2002 S60 AC Problem

I have a '02 S60 and my AC will blow cool on the left side and warm to hot on the right side. I can hear the compressor kick on when engaging the AC and it stays on. what could the problem be??

The air deflector flap is stuck on the heat cycle OR the thermostat has failed on that side
