Flashers going crazy 2000 S80

Hey guys,
My 2000 S80 (70,000 miles) flashers have been going off once every couple of hours with no siren!
I have been reading a previous post about this problem. However, when I set the alarm with the window down and unlock/open my car door, my siren is at a whisper. The previous posts talk about either the siren going off intermitently and finally not at all, and the other talks about no siren at all. Does anyone know about a quiet siren while the flashers are going off?

I tried a new car battery and it didn't make a difference.
