Siren Alarm Without Sound,2000 S80 T6

Hi,i dont know if this is a normal for volvo s80 2000,but i buy this car last year and i never heard my car alarm,i check the fuses and everything look great,when i press the panic in the control the alarm sounds but when i close all doors and active the alarm ,i open a door and the car just flash the lights......please any advise???thanks

Hi Wilson,

The panic button sounds the horn, not the alarm.

The alarm siren had probably failed as mine did recently. Mine was fairly cheap to replace at

But maybe can be just the siren that not work properly,i will try to buy other one to put on it.Thanks for the adivise.....
