Has anyone restored or repainted the black coating, paint, whatever it is, on the doors around the windows of an S80? Mine are flaking off. It looks like the doors have the body color under it. The small window behind the back door is not body color though. Or maybe, has anyone removed this from the frames around the door windows?

I actually removed my coating too. It was all beat up/chipped and looked like a rough after market job. The corners weren't laid very well and it really was getting on my nerves. It's not fun getting it off though. It took me at least 2-3 hours for each door frame. I used an industrial solvent that was clear coat safe to loosen the adhesive. The coating is similar to a tint or vinyl type material streched across the frames. Worse part is, I like it better black! Oh well, I'm thinking about having it painted sometime in the future.
