Head light life short '93 850 glt

Hey, I found myself changing my head light bulbs again this weekend when i realized how often it seems I have to do it. Is normal to have change them roughly every three months? what could be the problem?

what bulbs are you using?
could be the brand.

I was changing them about that often with Sylvania Silverstars...went back to cheap GE bulb from Autozone and haven't changed on in a year.

i was thinking about silverstars too, when I had them they were pretty good, but a lot of others I know have had poor results

They were good...don't get me wrong. As far as the amount of light they put out there were far better than generic ones but when you consider the expense and then burning out ever few months, I went back to dimmer, cheaper bulbs.

Check the condition of the connectors that the lamps plug into. Once they overheat and carbonize you are doomed to a cycle of failures.
