HELP!!! 1997 850 R "Tracs Off"

I just got my car about 2 weeks ago and no problems until tonight when a strange light turned on. My car had a light that turned on saying "TRACS OFF". does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

Hey thanks for the response and pages that explain. It explained it well enough to where i could fix the problem
