Hello All.
Last week my rear window stopped working. I need to know how to remove the door panel and roll the window back up and then disconnect the motor.
I checked the repair archives for similar topics and only found one that instructs you on how to remove the front door panels. Is the procedure for removing the rear door panels the same? How do you replace the window motors?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Bev.

99 times out of a 100, this is just a bad switch. The motor is probably OK.
Sometimes it's a bad wire between the door and the jamb,
but not very likely in an 850 . I'd get a meter and look hard at the switch.
With a little electrical savvy, you should be able to bypass
the switch and get the window rolled back up. The power
and the motor connections are right there at the switch.

+1 on what BEJ said. I have one on the platinum that will roll down all day but it won't roll back up (with either switch) unless I spray the switch on the console with contact cleaner.
One of these days I will take the switch apart and fix it for real.
It was clever how they strategically put the switch directly below the cup holder.

The right rear window became intermittent on my 850. Down but not up.
With enough fiddling, I got it raised. The issue is the console switch.
Even though the reclamation yard dude swore up and down I needed a new regulator. And motor.
To keep it from being operated, I pulled the window switch from the right rear door.
