The only thing I'd add is on step 7, when you're threading the new plugs in, is to use quarter-inch or eighth-inch rubber tubing to suspend the plugs over the plug holes, then twist the plugs onto the engine block's threads by turning the other end of the tubing. With the tubing, you can't get enough torque to crossthread.
With aluminum blocks like our 850s have, cross-threading spark plugs is easy, and is a big problem if it happens.
