Synthetic Oil change 2004 S80

I just bought a 2004 S80 5 cylinder T with 49,700 miles.

I want to start using Mobil 1 synthetic oil.

What weight range is ok? Mobil 1's web site recommends 5w30w.

Is this OK?

Welcome to MVS.
That's sounds right but your owner's manual will have the right weight for your car so look it up and follow it.

That's what I run in my car, but mine's the 6 cylinder.
