Radio issues w/1994 960
I recently purchased a 1994 Volvo 960 from an auto auction and I currently have zero power on the factory radio. I've read the manual online, in addition to the posts on this forum and all state that codes are needed if the display shows OFF or CODE, however I cannot get the radio to come on. How shall I proceed? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
Have you checked fuse #18 which covers the audio system?
Bill.

If your radio shows CODE, then you need to go to your local Volvo dealer. He will look up your VIN number in his computer and give you a 4 digit code. You punch in the code number and your radio will be back to normal.
This is done as a theft deterrent so that if some steals your radio, it will be useless without the code number!
EDIT: sorry, I mis read your post! Yes, check the fuse first! Sorry about that!!
