Volvo 240 Wagon Stripe Tape

I have a 1991 Volvo 240 wagon, with the flat black "stripe tape" that goes just below the side windows along the entire length of the car.

This stuff is starting to peel, and looks awful.

Is there a kit that Volvo sells that you can reapply this? Or is it best just to pull off the old stuff and forget about it?

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

VADIS still lists the tape as a kit but whether any dealer will stock it is debatable.

I would find a suitable alternative in your local parts shop or any place that supplies body repair shops and use that.
