S70 Code P1171 Fuel adaption, bank 1

Hi all,
I just got this code in my Volvo P1171 Fuel adaption, bank 1!!!
what does that mean?? anyone experienced that before?

I read on another forum that this code means "

P1181 translates to ECM-271A which is Fuel adaptation, Bank 2.
P1171 translates to ECM-261A which is Fuel adaptation, Bank 1.
The above codes are most likely caused by a dirty or bad MAF sensor.
When my T6 had these faults, I was able to correct it by removing the MAF sensor from it's housing and spraying it clean with some electronics cleaner. I figured that if it didn't work, I would have to buy a new sensor anyway, but fortunately it did the trick."
Where is the MAF sensor and how to get it out?

P1171 is a fuel trim code; could be a number of things. How's the gas mileage? It's more than likely a vacuum leak but could also be an MAF sensor. Check the cheap stuff (vacuum leaks) first. Your MAF sensor is in the round, hard plastic case right past your air filter housing, connecting it with the large accordion intake hose that goes to your turbo (if you have one) or to your throttle housing (if no turbo).

Gas mileage is very bad I think it is like 15 MPG city and about 24 freeway. What does vacuum leak means? where is that vacuum? I'm sure my coolant leaks and I'll order coolant expansion tank soon.

You have lots of little hoses as well as the turbo hoses (if you have a turbo) that could be torn or broken. Crank your engine and spray a flammable liquid (carb cleaner etc) around where your hoses are- if your engine surges, you've found your leak.
