'03-.05 XC70's - Recommendations and insight?

I am in the market to upgrade my ’99 XC70 to something in the era of ’03-’05 XC70.

Any common problems to look for in those years? Any recommendation on specific years being better or worse in terms of reliability?

Thinking back to the life of my ’99…ECU, ABS controller, VVT Solenoid, PCV system all sounded like common issues for the model year which my car followed suit for having issues with (all now since corrected and running like a charm). Wondering if/what common things like that are turning up on the newer XC70’s in the ’03-’05 range?

They got better every year...the AWD system too...after '03, so get the newest you can afford.
