I have just bought a 96 p 440. I had a 940 estate before and remember being fried in the summer as the climate control does not have a cold. What is the best way of keeping cool in the summer?
thanks Mike

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
If the car is not fitted with air conditioning all that happens when you turn the control to its coldest setting is that you draw in air at the outside temperature. In the UK this was the norm until very recently when the manufacturers realized that we may like to have air conditioning fitted as standard and not as a very expensive option.
Unfortunately no air conditioning = being too hot in the summer.
Bill.
