850R 1997 trans fluid

Hi everyone, I am thinking of changing my trans. fluid from OEM to Synthetic Royal Purple. I was wondering if anyone out there has used synthetic trans. fluid and if you had any problems or not? this is a regular maintenance thing for me. I`m just looking for something better. thanks.

You could use that...I switched to Mobil-1 Synthetic on my S70 at 98K miles. I've had no issues but the fluid wasn't burnt either. Really depends on how many miles are on your car and the condition of the fluid in there now. If it's black or burned, I would probably just do a drain and fill with Dex/Merc (Castrol) which is very close to what was in there to begin with.
