ETMs now rebuilt in Colorado by TDP for XeMODeX

Post by DonWillson »

As you probably already know, XeMODeX, a Canadian firm has developed a modification for the Volvo Magneti Marelli ETM that replaces the potentiometer throttle position sensor. The replacement uses a technology that monitors that throttle position without any physical contact, thus no wear.
As of May 1, 2009, Technology Driven Products (TDP) of Loveland, Colorado has the exclusive rights to modify, rebuild or remanufacture (take your choice of terms) all ETMs and employ the XeMODeX technology. The rebuilt ETMs will carry the TDP/XeMODeX name. TDP has exclusive rights to sell to all of the world except the European Continent.
All information is available at http://FixYourETM.com.
When you fill out the "Contact us, how to order" page and press the submit your information goes to XeMODeX in Canada, TDP in Loveland, Colorado and to me. The ETM must be shipped to the Colorado address.
I am working with XeMODeX and TDP to get the word out to as many independent Volvo repair shops in the U. S. as I can find. If you have a favorite independent operator let me know at [email protected].
Announcing my affiliation with XeMODeX, Inc. as Internet correspondent and consultant to Volvophiles needing help with failing ETMs. See http://FixYourETM.com. For the full history of this problem see http://VEXEDvolvo.org

So now is the price US$599, instead of Can$599? If so, why the price increase?
