240 dl 1990 Non-func. wipers, horn fuses blows cont.

I don't know if the problem is in the switch, wiring, or wiper motor and I don't know the specs of the wires to check if they are showing continuity. I've been looking for wiring diagrams to no avail. Any input would be appreciated thanks.

You could try unplugging the wiring at the motor, then turn the wiper switch on. If the fuse doesn't blow, you know the motor has a short. If it blows, you know it's not the motor.

I hope system wiring diagrams will help as the full diagram takes six pages and is so small it is difficult to read.

Where do you find the relay for the wiper motor?
I've read that it's behind a kick plate somewhere. Can someone be more specific?

We can even supply a picture:

Up to 1986 the two wiper relays are reversed - rear is to the left.
