easy cheap way?

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

If you're talking about tires, just add air.
If you're talking about the turbo, you can go with a manual boost control, but you have to watch out without a proper tune or you can do some damage.

he he he.... Yes I meant the boost on the Turbo. You said something about a propper tune. Do I need to retune it after upping the pressure or what do you mean?

Tune means your computer really needs to either be software updated or a chip installed to take advantage of the higher boost... A manual boost control will up the boost but without the first, it is possible to detonate the engine...just a thought, but you probably can up things to about 15PSI without it doing that without a tune- You'll need an accurate boost gauge so you don't do any damage.

Only 11?

I was thinking of about 12.5.
I thought that was the sweet spot for T5's.

If you are running an IPD tune, which pushes the car to 14.5 PSI, can you up the boost more? And if you can, how much without causing an issue?
