I just called Princeton Volvo looking to see if i could get my radio code and a part number for the keyless remote. They would not give me the part number unless I buy the remoted for 60 bucks and they also want to charge me for the radio code. I think this is total bullshit. I called the volvo dealer in red bank and it was the same deal.
So, could someone please PM me with my radio code and the part number for the keyless entry remote?

1994 was a transition year on the keyless system and I doubt that they will know for sure based on the VIN. The receiver may or may not be original to the car. My son's car, a '96, should have the later version but, since it had none, I installed one of the early versions that I picked up on eBay.
The best way to find out is to pop the glove box out and read the part number and FCC identifier number off of the receiver.
The numbers you are looking for are shown here:
That receiver is upside down from a factory installation.
The dealer should not charge for the radio code but many require that you appear in person and prove ownership of the car and the radio. I've had decent luck having my wife call the parts department and get her to talk real sweet to them.

You might want to try Smythe Volvo in Summit, they are a lot nicer than Princeton/Bridgewater, and use Lee's trick will be even better.
