I just ordered my 850 r bumper cover from the dealer < my ass still hurts>, and before I have it painted and put on I would be willing to have a mold and duplicates made from a company called W.D. plastics here in Saskatoon <central Canada>.
Right now I am just gauging interest.
I would guess it would be worthwhile financially if a minimum 3 people were interested, judging what it cost me for a front spoiler from the dealer.
PLEASE NOTE I am not looking to make money from this.
The cost of the mold and bumper covers would be split by the number of people who want a bumper cover, the more people the less it will cost.
PLEASE FORWARD THIS POST TO ANYONE YOU THINK WOULD BE INTERESTED/AND OR ON OTHER VOLVO FORUMS .
With enough interest I will get a written quote from W.D. Plastics and go from there.
I am willing to wait till July 15th before installing my new factory bumper cover, get back to me quick, thanks
Hope to hear from ya. Kyle

Just found your post through Google, so I joined up here. I guess I missed thew July 15 dealine but anyway...I've been using Matt's site for a few year, but never got onto the forum.
To business; what's the status of your R bumper adventures? Mine has been shredded a few times, and is in my garage under repair yet again. I think it will be ok for winter use, but I'd like a fresh one for summer. And I think I know a few people who would be interested in getting a fresh R bumper at a better price than dealer as well.
cheers

Unfortunately you have been the only response,, and I've already sent my new bumper to be painted.
I did find this site after the fact. Hope it helps.. its half as much as I paid.
