v70/s70/850 fuel pump removal made super easy
Hi I am taking pictures of my fuel pump removal on my v70xc but I hit a wall that does not seem to be covered in the other write ups I have read, or at least glanced over. I am wondering how I can take off the hard lines from the fuel pump assembly.... do I just pry up on it with a screw driver or do I use pliers? One person in another writeup used spark plug pliers and another used a door panal remover but I am wondering how they used it to take the line off.

Many use an open end wrench - off the top of my head I think it is a 17mm - to depress and release the locking tabs. Once the tabs are depressed give the line a quick shove toward the fuel pump and it should release.

So I pretty much have this issue I cannot fit a 17mm open ended wrench in where this is to effective do anything. I see there is some type of washer with indents (a locking washer I presume) now is that what I am trying to depress? is there a picture of what the thing looks like I need a small mirror or something because I am not too sure how to tackle this at the moment.

does no one have anything else to add that might help me get these damned connectors off so I don't damage anything while fiddling around.
