Hi... I have an issue with the above. I have changed all the sump 'o' rings which I have to say were knackered. I thought at that point.... YEHHHHHH fixed it! Alas....no. The tapping improves significantly when the engine has reached temperature + 10 to 15 minutes of running. One other point to mention is the oil pressure at cold must be low.... if you take the filler cap off when its first started you can't really see much oil dancing.... if you do the same when it's upto temperature you get an oil shower.... What am I missing here????? It's been flushed, various grades of oil nothing has made any change to the problem... ARRRRGH!! Help.........
