When I lock the car, the lights flash for 5 minutes and then stop. No alarms go off.

Any suggestions?

Check to make sure all the doors are closed including the hood (or is it bonett?) and tail gate. I remember something like that happening to me. I opened then closed the hood and it fixed it self.
