1993 850GLT is there only ONE fuse box?

Post by Georgia »

I only see one fuse box located under the hood, this houses none of the larger-type fuses that I have seen in other cars - is there another one hidden somewhere or is there only the one?

That is the only fuse box I have ever seen. The relays are located in different places on the car if that is what you are talking about.

You'll find all the fuses and almost all of the relays in the car in these two locations.

( I know you have a '93, but I'm pretty sure that the '95 is nearly the same car. )

From what I can see in the books, the early 850's only had the one fuse box.
I know that the 70 series added an additional main distribution box with the BIG (MAXI-ATC) fuses
and some of the heavier relays, but I see just the one fuse box in the books for your 850.

hello,

the fusebox is attached by 4 torx screws.. in order to see all the fuses(relays) you need to remove the 4 screws and remove the fuse box cover completely. also some of the relays are hidden under the drivers side soundproofing panel under the steering wheel so you need to remove the panel to access all the relays in the car.
