Blue Smoke

Post by bhare »

Appear to be having an issue with blue smoke from the exaust after load applied and it appears when you lift your foot of the accelerator (when load is released), have had the PCV system replaced as it was previously smoking at idle and issue went away for a month but has no reappeared on lift off fter load applied!!! have completed work on the head (gasket, stem seals ect.. and replaced piston rings and the problem still persists, I feel it might be sucking oil across the compressor seal (2003 V70 T5), Uses alot of oil @ 1 lt / week. I have tried disconnecting various pies like the breeder from the crank back to intake as there was some oil present, but would not account for the ammount im losing...

Some has suggested checking the recirc valve as it may not be an issue with the turbo, how does this manifest itself, how do you know if this is the issue rather than the entire turbo???.
