2001 V70 Rear Windscreen Wiper motor

I've got a 2001 V70. The rear Windscreen wiper unit needs replacing. Bought a replacement from Volvo, but when I looked to replace it, the wiper looks like it'll go the wrong way. Currently, motor goes from right to left, but the part I've been supplied with is a mirror image of the wiper that's on there now. Is is possible to switch motor direction?
