Ive come across this word reading several volvo prefomance articles. What is it exactly, beyond some sort of software id like to know more about it.

It's the system used to control yoru cars computer or ECU basically. It's a magical, mystical language that nobody seems to understand

haha okay well I wasn't trying to deter you. It's definitely possible to understand Motronic. Check out Turbo Tuner for our cars for M4.3, and 4.4 is apparently supposed to come any day.

motronic is what bosch calls its contol units that control fuel and spark,before motronic there was lh and individual moduels controlled spark and fuel.
