random white smoke out the tail pipe

I recently purchased an XC90 T6 which has been to the volvo dealer often (have receipts from previous owner). There is random white smoke coming out the tail pipe. It has happened twice. the smoke then disappears with no apparent consequences. Can anyone help with this?

usually a pinhole leak in the head gasket. Have them perform a vacuum test on the cooling system. It will find the leak but will worsen the issue. You can test the coolant for combustion gasses first .

There is a rare occurance of a turbo with a leking coolant jacket but its rare. Has the car ver been run and overheated as cracks in the head can occur as well

How do I test the coolant for combustion gases? I have drained the coolant and looking at it it looks fine. I looked for traces of oil and there are none.
