Just bought a 2008 XC90 with 22k miles and immediately got a nail in the back left tire. Took it in for repair at the Ford dealer down the street. When I got it back, steering wheel was out of alignment, message stating "anti-skid requires service" and I can't turn the DSTC back on. Felt like it was going to flip on an off-ramp. Very unstable.
Ford says nothing they did would have caused this (they claim they simply jacked up the back left, spun the tire to find the nail, fixed it and that was it)...say this is all probably warranty issues. Obviously suspect to me but I am not sure what they might have done to cause all of these issues. Any thoughts?

Steering wheel out of alignment sounds like suspension damage. The mechanic probably smacked it into a curb or took it joyriding. Take it to a Volvo dealer or independent Volvo shop immediately to have it diagnosed. If they say it's damaged, go back to the Ford dealer and demand that they pay for the repairs (they probably won't, but it's worth a try). Don't have Ford do the work, though.
