2004 xc90 Key will not turn in the ignition

The key in my 2004 xc90 will only turn to position one, and will not turn any further than that. There are two other positions in order for my truck to start....Please adise.......

Chances are that your ignition tumbler is failing and you need to replace it. If you send your vin number and information to us we can order you a new one from Volvo. It comes pre-coded so that you can use your original key, you just have to have someone install it. It runs about $220 bucks for the new ignition tumbler.
