transmission fluid

Hi good people! Not long ago I changed out the transmission fluid on my son's 2002 V70 with about 100 k on it. Used the recommended 3309. Now, unfortunately, it clunks when shifting up into 2nd gear, usually after slowing down to turn a corner. It did not do this prior to the change.
I am considering changing the fluid to Mobil 1 largely because it works so well in my 98 V70. Different transmission, I know, but am I correct in saying that Mobil 1 is now compatible with 3309?

A correction to my last posting on trans. fluid: I used Valoline Dexron VI in my 98 V70. Can I use this full synthetic in my son's 02 V70?

No you cannot. JWS3309 is the only thing you can use. Your shifting issues might be related to the fluid change or it could just be a coincidence.

The B4 servo cover upgrade might help as well. Best $14 I've spent on my '02.

I got mine from FCP Groton in CT. Its not on their on-line site but they can get it for you if you call the order in. Since its an OEM kit, a local on-the-ball dealer should carry it as well but the price might be a bit different.
