Replacing door speakers in 1999 S80

The speakers are not working in the doors. I have a couple questions hoping someone can help. Is there a amp in the car (where)? How do you pull the speakers out of the door and will an after market speaker work? PLease someone help me!!!!!

i dont have a 1999, rather a 2001. to replace the speakers, you gotta take the door panels off, any aftermarket should work, check the wires on the speaks. i dont know where the amp is.
