Aftermarket fog lights with stock wiring and switches

Post by code-man850 »

So I've been told that Volvo is good at including the wiring and spots on the dash for options you may not have selected. I.E. the fog light wiring and switch place are all there. Since my 855T didn't come with fog lights I was wondering if I could get a set of aftermarket fog lights (since they are way cheaper) and a 850 fog light switch for the dash, then plug the lights into the stock wiring and plug in the switch and everything will work?

The OEM setup requires an additional relay in addition to the parts you have listed.

so then you could infact just buy the fog lights, a relay and a switch...
*no wiring* and be good to go.
