940se auto turbo 1993 remote key fob replacement

pkease can anyboby help . i am trying to find a spare remote keyfob. the keyfob i have is a grey and has one button , i am trying to get hold of a spare o my dissabled wife can use the car. i have tried a volvo main dealer and have been told they are no longer made. i have also tried a 2 button volvo keyfob but i am told this will not work with the car .if any body can help me find one i wold be very greatfull , i am willing to pay if need be and any shipping cost

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Very hard to get hold of unless someone has scrapped a car and kept the fob. The last one I found was in the bottom of a mechanic's toolbox and he didn't know he had it.

Try Parts Gateway. They don't sell parts but will pass your requirements to several dealers in used and new Volvo parts who will contact you with availability and price.
