Trip meter issue

Post by rbtcha »

Hello
I have a 2004 XC 70 and had am wondering if there is an issue with the trip meter resetting its self from time to time. This happened to me between the time I parked it last night and this morning when I left for the store.

Thanks
Rbtcha

I have the same mystery. It's happened more than once but different circumstances each time. Once overnight, once during a fuel stop, once driving.

ALL 2004/s have this (factory glitch)
You both need to see your dealer and get a software download fix it!

I Have a 2004 S60 2.5T, and the trip resets at or around 750 miles. From what I've been told, it's not a glitch, it helps define the service interval of 7,500 miles. Once you hit 750 miles on trip A, they will both reset to 0. Once you reach 750, it is programmed to reset the next time the vehicle starts up. Just a Volvo thing! VFL, TurboBrick4-eva!

No, it's a friggen glitch (don't argue with me)
Go to Volvo and they will download some software to fix it

Hello, I would happily trade my '02 transmission hiccough for an '04's friggen glitch. Kira
