Updated my ETM about a year ago this month. Been running like a champ. Still is, 'cept the ETS light started coming on this week. Just the light. I do NOT notice any performance issues to the best of my ability. Even cruise control still works fine. I checked the code and it is P1028. Frame capture data showed rpm at 843. I reset the code and the ETS light went out, but came back on again after 50 miles with the same code. This appears to be a Volvo specific/proprietary code. Does anybody know what it means for a '99 S70?

In both the cases so far that this code has been set, the engine was at idle, so I have a suspicion this code may have something to do with the IAC valve (i.e. the "mini-throttle"). Need to collect more data and maybe do some experiments.
