There are differences but they are mostly on interior parts and electrical stuff. Mechanically it is pretty much the same.

I've found several minor differences in the electrical wiring between the 850 manual and my '98, mostly because of different locations of switches, etc. In essence, they are the same car except yours has an AWD system. There are several people around here with 98's, so feel free to ask if you have any questions about the differences
