Failing to start

Volvo Repair Database Failing to start

Hi I have had a problem with starting the car its a 09 C30 2LD(turbo) it turns over but will not fire, it has happened 5 times since November, eventually it will fire after about 10 - 15 trying, when it does there is loads of smoke from the exhust I mean loads!!

Garage say untill it happens in the garage they will do nothing!!

any advice please :roll:

I have 99 S-70 that does the same thing when ( the car is just moved to pull out of the garage)the car is started and not run long enough to clear the rich starting fuel air mixture out of the cylinders. It loads up with fuel.
My answer was to run the car for a 2-3 minutes and then shut it off.
