Post by smart13579 » Tue Apr 13, 2010 4:20 pm

Hi, i wonder if anyone can help me.

ive got a 1994 volvo 480 turbo and i want to complete turn off the day time running lights.
Ive already taken the relay out so the front ones dont work but i dont want any to work, e.g. the front, side and back ones.

is it possible to stop them completely working but then still work when i turn the lights on

thansk again

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

On the 440 if you want to switch off the day running lights completely, i.e. side, rear and dim-dip lights remove the light switch and pull the yellow cable with the spade connector on it out of the centre connection.

I would think it is the same on the 480.
