Where are interior temperature sensor inlet fans?

Post by outdoor7or24 »

Hey, I got the DTC B1 codes:
414- Driver side interior temperature sensor inlet fan seized
417- Passenger side interior temperature sensor inlet fan seized

Where are these sensors located? Any photos or write-ups?

I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

The grab bars above your door have little vents in them with fans. A couple shots of compressed air should clean them of dust and free up the fans; hopefully that will get it working for you.

Can I just take the grab handles off to access them?
I do not recall them being there when I replaced headliner....

Yes, you can remove the grab bars to get to them. They are behind the rear grab bars. If you have automatic climate control, then they are there.
