Update on Raxles

Post by JDS60R »

Raxles is a company in Florida that many of us have come to love as they will supply only the best in CV joints/shafts and their price is far better than OEM. Raxles gives a lifetime warranty and after dealing with Marty once you will come to understand how easy it is to put your trust in them. I have no affiliation with Raxles. I just love their service ,product and knowledge.

Recently I guided a few folks to Raxles and then later heard back from them that the axles were not available. I called Marty to get the details and let everyone know.

Per Marty:
Raxles has all of the Volvo axles up to 1998 in stock. In 1999 the outer CV joint changed. Marty is working with his vendors to get the outer CV's and will let us know when he does. He is working with several vendors right now so I hope he has success shortly.

I will post and update when I hear back from him. For 1999 and newer Marty is not aware of anyone producing a quality axle. Marty suggests the dealer is the most viable source for an axle at this time. If you are looking for a shaft that will last, Marty does not suggest a reground CV joint.
