Hi All,
My car was in for it's annual inspection and I noticed the driver side rear rotor had corrosion on it while all the others are clean and in decent shape. The Rotors all around are about 3 years old and the fronts were rebuilt about 2 years ago due to leaking. Has anyone had their rear caliper go bad and if so, did you replace it or rebuild it? I'm a grad student on a budget and I could do either myself but I would like to fix it correctly.
Any thought?
Thanks,
Eoin

The calipers can sometimes be freed up by working the the pistons back and then applying the brakes. It is best done by removing only one pad at a time on each caliper. It will probably take 5-10 cycles per piston
