Since Ford took over Volvo and now understand china group purchased it, find that servicing the car has become more difficult in that they don't even return your calls to get an appointment-
seems dealers not interested in you any longer-have others found this to be the case?
Took in my 2008 S80 for 44000 km maintenance --was charged what I thought was exorbitant fee-for 2.5 actual hours of labour was charged 413 dollars for labour for change of oil and filter, rotating tires and lube doors and hinges and seals
unfortunately it states that if I don't get it done by ford this would invalidate my warranty coverage so that makes me a captive audience.
maintenance fees
That sounds like total B.S. Regular service such as oil change and filter can be done by any one including yourself. Lubricating a door hinge is also a diy sort of thing. Warranty work is listed in your owners manual and it will tell you what type of things are covered under your new car warranty including the bumper to bumper period. Ford motor has nothing to do with warranty coverage then nor does Geeley China now. It is still Volvo North America.
