running lights

I recently purchased a 2006 V70. Daytime running lights are standard on the car. They come on when I start the car and it doesn't appear that I can turn them off. Is it possible to turn them off?

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

A Volvo dealer can do this using the computer. It is not a software download nor does it take much longer than a couple of minutes, so cost shouldn't be too bad.
