S60 2001 - EMISSION SYSTEM SERVICE + Check engine

Post by Manta »

Hi everybody,

I've got check engine on my S-60 2001. 2L Turbo.104 000 Miles.
5 months ago I had a problem with 'check engine' + "Exhaust system service required" was coming together. And my Cruise Control wasn't working, and Cruise indicator wasn't display at front panel as well.
I went to service and they checked engine by some service computer and said "Clutch position pedal sensor needs to be replaced".
I was replaced the sensor and reset my computer and was also cleaned up my throttle. My Cruise Control was started working, but after one week Check Engine was back again. + "EMISSION SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED" Cruise Control is not working again but the cruise indicator now showing. I was checked my errors again and the code reader says now -

1. Long-term mixture idle at control stop
2. Long-term mixture regulation lower partial throttle at control stop.

I can't find this kind of errors.
Can somebody recommend me please what should I do and which system or sensor check?

The car is driving good and there is no power lost. It doesn't waste fuel as well.
Is it O2 Sensors?
Any ideas?

Thank you all.

I would check for vacuum hose leaks and turbo hose leak first (at idle spray carb cleaner around hoses and see if engine surges)...then clean your MAF sensor and if not done yet, you're probably needing your throttle plate cleaned anyway. 02 sensors rarely go bad this early in the life of a Volvo.
