Hello guys,
Looking to get this car (140K) and the A/C is shutting itself off after driving a while. What are the possible problems?
Thank you...

Either the clutch on the compressor needs to be shimmed
or the AC evap control module
I'm looking tiowards the compressor clutch as your problem (common)!

Is there any tutorial on how to shim the clutch. It's the ac clutch on my 03 that keeps on engaging and no cold air blowing. Is it possible it's loosing/low on freon?

I just re-shimmed mine last month. A few special tools where required, but are available from Autozone and Kragen loaner tool program. I documented here: https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =9&t=34132
