Cracked Rims

I bought a 2004 Volvo C70 (Hooray, love her, hah) and to my suprise found out within a month that three of the rims are cracked. They are 17" "Otrera Polished". I am wondering is it common to have so many cracked rims on a 2004? Also, I wonder if these are the original wheels....does any one know how I find out if they are original.......the dealer that sold me the vechicle is not able to tell me. Thank you.

Never heard of an Otrera wheel, it certainly is not OEM for an 04 C70 and no, that many shouldn't be cracked.
..and what do you mean by cracked?
A wheel will not hold air in a tire if cracked.

Volvo wheels certainly can bend easily enough but crack, that's pretty rare and to have THREE cracked is almost impossible!

I just checked, it's a optional wheel for an 01-04 V70
Should work OK, but cracked????? and three!

It is POSSIBLE to crack volvo rims, but after you cracked three I would be looking into the suspension as whatever the driver managed to hit to crack three rims probably did some damage to the suspension as well.

Thank you for the information. I had the strut mounts replaced just after purchase. I am going to take it to a different shop for a second look at the wheels and the suspension. Thanks again.
