1998 headlight wiper motor removal

Post by mcg122 »

I've been trying to remove the left side headlight wiper motor from a 98 V70 parts car I just picked up. It seems as if I need to remove the radiator, or at least unbolt the actual crossmember that the radiator is attached to, in order to be able to slide the motor out from between the radiator and the crossmember. I'm going to be removing the radiator & intercooler before I junk the car, but I'm not so sure I want to bother with replacing the motor on my 99 wagon if it means I have to disassemble half the front end to do it! Thanks in advance for your help. :D

OK, I see many views, but no resolution..I went to my local Volvo dealer & spoke to the shop foreman, he said it should just "wriggle out" without having to remove the radiator or the crossmember, I'll have another look & update.
Either way, I think I'm just going to unplug the wiper motor on my driver & leave it!!
