I'm looking for the high side fitting on my '96 850 Turbo but can't find it. Is there one or do you pull a vacuum and recharge using only the low side?

Also, does anyone know how much 134A is required for a full charge?

Thanks!

try to find someone who does HVAC and they should have gauges for you, that's what my dad does and he has some "yellow jacket" gauges that can tell you pressure, etc etc, it's a nice tool if you frequently recharge your AC, but they are fairly expensive. http://www.yellowjacket.com/wn2.cfm?cat=1 it's on that page.

I have found my evaporator to be the cause of a leak in my a/c system via eletronic sniffer. Is this common and is replacement done through the cowl or dash removal? Any est. for evap cost? Thanks!

A Dealer will take your wallet and right arm. I had a Volvo mechanic change 2 (two) on a saturday morning.Three hours for each. The entire dash needs to be removed.
