Help with codes

Ok, I know there's a ton of topics already but I haven't been able to figure them out and need it explained to me in english...I just pulled the codes from the A2 ...they were as follows...3-2-5, 5-2-2 and 1-5-3. I know what the code sheet says but what am I really looking for and what parts do I need to check out...this is my first Volvo and I love it already...just been driving it about 2 miles to work and home until I can get everything fixed and make sure there's nothing major wrong with it. The car has been running fine I just don't want to take her out of town until I know she's ready and dependable. Are any of these codes serious and do they need to be fixed before I continue driving her...Car was always serviced at Volvo dealership but has been sitting for about 2 years...Thanks to all of you for your help in advance!!!

Will the car run at all? It should like the ECU is shot from what the codes mean.

I have never seen the 'memory failure' code before.

The other two mean that your rear O2 sensor is dead and needs to be replaced. The rear sensor simply monitors the efficiency of the catalytic converter - it doesn't do anything to effect how the car runs, but it will throw the check engine light.

Use a Bosch direct-fit replacement only when you change it - anything else will give you problems. There's a good deal on them through the Amazon link at the top of the page.

FCP, yes the car runs great as far as I can tell.

jblackburn...Thanks again for your reply...I'll be sure to only order the Bosch and thanks for making it clear for me...I read about 20 posts before I decided to ask the direct question.

Thanks again and I'll let ya'll know when I get that Rear O2 sensor replaced.

One more dumb question...does it matter if the part from Amazon states "front o2 sensor" or are the front and rear sensors the same thing...I searched Amazon for rear o2 sensor but it only showed 2 and they both say front...one is pre-wired with the plug and the other has to be wired...Think I'll go with the pre-wired if it's the right part. Thanks again!!

Be sure that you buy OEM Bosch,not Generic/Universal Bosch.

...And YES it have to be the REAR one,because they are different...they have different part number.
